We are pleased to announce the general availability of our November 2020 Preview Release (PR): CloudBees Build Acceleration 2020.11.00. Please see our earlier announcement about our Accelerator Release Strategy update and our plan to accelerate the delivery of new content through Preview Releases.
CloudBees Build Acceleration v2020.11 PR introduces new reports and actionable recommendations for improving build performance available from the Cluster Manager UI as well as from the command line. With 2020.11 we are adding Jobache support for Kotlin language builds.
Build Recommendations and Performance Insights
This release expands on the Cluster Manager Build Details enhancements added in the 2020.10 PR with new actionable recommendations for improving build performance, as well as several insights in the Performance tab including:
- Information about the critical path in the build to help guide performance analysis.
- Agent utilization data showing the number of agents used over the duration of the build.
- Detailed metrics relating to bandwidth, compression performance, and more.
Performance recommendations are also available in CloudBees Build Acceleration Insight.
Introducing Jobcache support for Java Kotlin builds
This release introduces support for javac compilation with support for the Kotlinc compiler. It also introduces improvements for Windows Jobcache.
Android build performance improvements
This release includes performance enhancements for incremental Android builds and any other ninja-based build. In some cases performance can be up to 3x better.

- Navigate to /products/accelerator/preview_release//2020.11.00 or click 2020.11.00.

CloudBees recommends that customers moving to the Preview Release upgrade all of their Accelerator components to version 2020.11.00. This includes the Cluster Manager, cluster nodes (agent machines), and all local eMake build machines.
