Summary
We are pleased to announce the general availability of our May 2020 Preview Release (PR): CloudBees Accelerator 2020.05.00. Please see our earlier announcement about our Accelerator Release Strategy update and our plan to accelerate the delivery of new content through Preview Releases.
Cloudbees Accelerator v2020.05 PR introduces new capabilities that shrink development cycles and enable software engineering teams to improve software quality while releasing more frequently. The 2020.05 PR introduces out-of-the-box support for speeding up the Android Open Source Project v11 preview release builds and Ninja 1.9.0. Usability improvements have been made to the Cluster Manager UI and support for RedHat Enterprise Linux 8.2 is added.
AOSP 11 Preview Version Out-of-the-box Acceleration
CloudBees Accelerator v2020.05 PR introduces out-of-the-box support for the AOSP v11 preview release. Users can use the --emake-android-version=11.0.0 option to seamlessly accelerate the building of the AOSP v11 preview release with Cloudbees Accelerator.
Ninja 1.9.0 Emulation
CloudBees Accelerator v2020.05 PR introduces support for emulating Ninja v1.9.0 which is a prerequisite for AOSP v11 and for modern CMake support. This enables Cloudbees Accelerator to support the latest version and older versions of Android concurrently.
New Cluster Manager Usability Improvements
The Build Details and Agent Details pages in the Cluster Manager UI have been reformatted for better usability.
RedHat Enterprise Linux 8.2 Support
CloudBees Accelerator v2020.05 introduces support for RHEL 8.2.

Download Cloudbees Accelerator 2020.05.00 from the CloudBees Sharefile site:
- Sign in using your personalized account to the CloudBees Sharefile site at https://cloudbees.sharefile.com.
- Navigate to /products/accelerator/preview_release/2020.05.00 or click 2020.05.00.
Installers are located in the directory corresponding to the operating system (for example, windows). Release notes and product documentation are available online at CloudBees Accelerator Documentation.

Upgrade
CloudBees recommends that customers moving to the Preview Release upgrade all of their Accelerator components to version 2020.05.00. This includes the Cluster Manager, cluster nodes (agent machines), and all local eMake build machines. See the CloudBees Accelerator Preview Version Upgrade Guide for complete upgrade instructions.
Customers using perpetual licenses can go to the CloudBees technical support site at https://support.cloudbees.com and submit a support request for a test license to try out the Preview Version.
