We are pleased to announce the general availability of our second Preview Release (PR): CloudBees Accelerator 2019.09.00. Please see our earlier announcement about our Accelerator Release Strategy update and our plan to accelerate the delivery of new content through Preview Releases.
Cloudbees Accelerator v2019.09 PR introduces new capabilities that shrink development cycles and enable software engineering teams to improve software quality while releasing more frequently. The v2019.09 PR release introduces support for the GA version of Android 10.0 (previously called Android Q) as well as performance improvements for the Android O & P versions along with customer requested reporting improvements for Accelerator Insight. This preview release also adds support for RedHat 8.0.
Support for Android 10.0
This release introduces support and performance optimizations for the Android 10.0 version (version r2) that became generally available (GA) earlier in September to enable faster-time-to-market for our Android device maker customers.
Performance Improvements for Android O & P
This release introduces performance improvements for speeding up incremental builds through faster startup for the Android O (8.0) & P (9.0) versions.
Command Line Reporting Improvements for Insight
This release provides additional reports for Accelerator Insight that can be run from the command line that provide visibility into the factors that might be slowing down a build’s performance including conflicts.
Download Cloudbees Accelerator 2019.09 from the CloudBees Sharefile site:
- Sign in using your personalized account to the CloudBees Sharefile site at https://cloudbees.sharefile.com.
- Navigate to /products/accelerator/preview_release or click Preview Release.
Installers are located in the directory corresponding to the operating system (for example, windows). Release notes and product documentation are available online at CloudBees Accelerator Documentation.

CloudBees recommends that customers moving to the Preview Release upgrade all of their Accelerator components to version 2019.09.00.
