Cert Docker container does not exist in worker

  • It is not possible to start Manage controllers (CJEMM) on a worker, and we see this error in logs
I1110 09:13:14.772850 19229 exec.cpp:217] Executor registered on slave e4664c08-0713-4943-b951-798bd8c1f839-S1
docker: Error response from daemon: No such container: certs.

CJE expects a container named certs to exist on this worker. This container is created on worker initialization.

The worker can be ‘fixed’ by running the following command dna run certificates-update worker-1. If you have any docker cleanup process outside of what CJE provides, check that it does not remove this container image cloudbees/docker-certificate.
