How to purge deleted workers?

Issue

  • Every time I run a cluster operation or script on the command output still appear some deleted worker, how can I purge them?
$> cje run list-workers
worker-1 (master: m4.x2large) ec2-XXX-XXX-XXX-XXX.compute-1.amazonaws.com > ENABLED
worker-2 (master: m4.x2large) ec2-XXX-XXX-XXX-XXX.compute-1.amazonaws.com > ENABLED
worker-3 (build: m4.x2large) ec2-XXX-XXX-XXX-XXX.compute-1.amazonaws.com > ENABLED
worker-4 (master: m4.x2large) > DELETED
worker-6 (build: m4.x2large) > DELETED

Environment

  • CloudBees Jenkins Enterprise (CJE)

Resolution

You have to use the purge-deleted-workers script to remove the old configuration of these workers

$> cje run purge-deleted-workers
Purge: worker-4
Purge: worker-6
$> cje run list-workers
worker-1 (master: m4.x2large) ec2-XXX-XXX-XXX-XXX.compute-1.amazonaws.com > ENABLED
worker-2 (master: m4.x2large) ec2-XXX-XXX-XXX-XXX.compute-1.amazonaws.com > ENABLED
worker-3 (build: m4.x2large) ec2-XXX-XXX-XXX-XXX.compute-1.amazonaws.com > ENABLED
