I am thinking about switching to declarative pipelines.
Why is it only available for multibranch pipeline? I know I can configure it, that it uses only one branch. But it would feel better, if I could simple use the standard pipeline.
Is there a good reason for this? Will it come?

I'm not sure what you mean - Declarative Pipelines can be used with single branches as well as with multibranch.
