ElectricAccelerator Developer Edition (EADE) includes local agents, which enable acceleration across all cores on a single machine. Through this new solution, Electric Cloud customers can take full advantage of the ever-increasing horsepower of individual machines using all the patented technology available in the clustered version of ElectricAccelerator. EADE instances can also connect to an existing ElectricAccelerator cluster at build time to take full advantage of any available agents in that cluster.
Electric Cloud recommends all customers upgrade their Accelerator components: Cluster Manager, cluster nodes (agent machines), and all local emake build machines to version 6.0. See the Release Notes for a summary of product improvements and known issues.
