Changing license gives license screen

Issue

  • I changed my license on CJOC, however it caused the license on my client master to be invalid.

Environment

  • CloudBees Jenkins Operations Center
  • CloudBees Jenkins Enterprise

Resolution

If your CloudBees Jenkins Enterprise uses a different security realm for your client master, then you would need access into the Jenkins instance and login to update the security. To get access you can create a temporary license for the client master and this will provide you immediate access into the Jenkins master. Once you login to the instance, then you can change the operations center connection details in Manage Jenkins > Configure System and update the connection details to the new information.
